Aviston, Illinois

Aviston is a small town with a big heart. Located approximately 35 miles directly east of St. Louis, it is on the eastern side of the St. Louis metropolitan area (Metro-east).  

 

Residents of Aviston take great pride in their community and this is proven by the numerous volunteer organizations.   Although Aviston is not directly on a major interstate highway, several major highways are nearby: I-64 to the south, I-70 to the north, I-57 to the east, I-55 to the west,  and New US Rt. 50 runs through the heart of Aviston.  Aviston's growth, kindness, and location make it a great place for business and living.

    Week Of March 19, 2012
    The Aviston water plant was struck by lightning this past weekend. While we are in the process of getting things back up and running as normal, all residents may experience a fluctuation of water pressure as well as rusty water. Please bear with us as the necessary repairs are being made.
